Get the model number and make of the TV, and the video card, and I'll tell you how to make it work.
However, green ports on the back of the video card are probably VGA, not DVI. Green/blue. The easiest way to tell is to look to see if there's sort of a cross in the connector. VGA has all single pin holes, DVI has pin holes, and on one side, a cross looking thingybob. |

A big aspect of this is what kind of lcd tv it is, if it isn't at least 720p (hdtv) then you're going to be disappointed with the picture. My computer is connected to my 1080p lcd tv and I'm not sure if I'd be satisfied with anything less. |

No such thing as a 720p or 1080p LCD to my knowledge. They're typically 768 or 1024, just like computer monitors. I'm actually not sure on the new "1080p" LCDs though, I should check.
S-Video will not be the best looking picture, since it can only support so much. That's why I asked - if the TV has even a VGA in, the quality will be much better than s-video. And a lot of LCD TVs have VGA in so they can do exactly what you're trying to do with no fuss. Though you will only get a square picture on your rectangular TV. |

Yup, seems the new 1080p LCDs are actually the 1080 they're advertised at, unlike the only 720, which are 768.
Guess I got some homework to do at work. |

if that flatscreen is the same as mine you need to use the 15pin connector (the classic analog moniter connector for the pc) |
