XFX GeForce 7600GT XXX edition problems

Hey, I recently built my new computer here and having a little trouble with what I think.... yea, me thinking... is the vid card. What its doing is on slighty older style games it will start running really fast give or take... seems like its lagging but in reality my character is moving faster or farther than the game should allow. Ex: on Neverwinter nights(NWN)1, I thought I would try it out again on new comp and I was able to "teleport" right outside of the map boundries... So I am not sure if it is an issue with vid card drivers or whatnot or if its even related to the vid card... I also pulled the down that all in one driver pack from Nvidias website so it should be up to date on the drivers too. On another note "new" games such as NWN2 or Oblivion. any thoughts suggestions...

specs:
AMD X2 4600
2 gig Corsair XMS 2 DDR 800
ASUS M2N32-SLI nForce 590
120 Gig HD (wester digital... dont think it matters)
and of course XFX GeForce 7600GT XXX edition

quick update. I just rememberd on NWN1 it has an auto detect deal for system specs and sets your video quality and all that stuff for you it told me I had a -2143 or so processor clock speed... I dunno if maybe its a problem with the X2 or if NWN is just odd... all my settings were still maxed out and it ran but I was as before mentioned telporting through walls and out of zones.


Edit: didnt feel like writing a new post on this.... I have been researching the problem and found a post about a dual core optimizer deal so I will try running that tonight and see if it helps things out......... if anyone is even actually reading this or thinking bout the problem.
