NEED YOUR HELP INSTALLING MY GRAPHICS CARD

i found a radeon 7000 graphics card in my closet. Im trying to get it to work, i dont have the cd anymore for the drives but i do have the drivers downloaded from the ATI site. So anyway.. whats the process?? I unplugged everything and popped off the side and snapped the card into a slot.. I go to hook up the monitor and it dosnt wanna turn on. wats wrong

First of all, what are your complete system specs? That Radeon 7000 is quite the old card and it may very well not be compatible with your system.

What slot did you put it in?

Celeron(R) CPU 2.80GHz
2.81 GHz 496 MB of RAM

and i snapped it into the only slot that it fit into correctly.

Actually the motherboard model would be preffered. You can get it by either physically opening up your case and looking, or downloading a program called EverestHomeEdition that will tell you all you need to know.
