    X1950XT Install help

I am installing my sapphire x1950xt and need some help connecting it to the psu. First of all, this thing in huge. The sticker instructions make reference to a 4pin connector on the gpu (which does not exsist, there is a 6 hole rectangular connector, although only 3 wires are used. It also shows it connecting to the extra connection coming off of the hardrive, but the extension cord provided does not fit this so i did the following: i connected the ext cord that came with the card to the card and the other end to an extra connection on the wire from the psu to the dvd drive. It seems to work but I have no idea if this is correct. There is another wire coming from the psu which is unused. It would fit on the gpu but has 6 wires, obvisouly only 3 would be used. Sorry for being for vague and rambling but my tech lingo is limited.

if you have a 6 pin connector on your psu, that is the one you should be using, it is especially for graphic cards.
