Super tough question...

I want to run game consoles through my lcd screen.

This is a computer monitor

Is it possible?

How would I go about this?

Am I retarded?

(give me some credit, monitors aren't my thing)

Help?

That was more than one question.

Thanks guys!

Yes, it is possible.

You just need a TV Tuner (HD Tuner if you want to play games in HD and the console supports it) for the PC (unless you want/need to bypass the PC).

I was speaking of actually bypassing the computer in general.

However, could anyone name some good hdtuner cards?

Unless your LCD monitor has video signal inputs (some do), you'll either need a video-to-VGA upconverter box. These are expensive.

Getting a TV card for the PC, HD or not, will be cheaper and has many more fun things to do with.
