I would choose the XFX.
1. Clock speeds are faster
2.Warranty much better
3. I like XFX..
EDIT:
Also on Newegg the XFX is cheaper..
ANOTHER EDIT:
You need to make sure your PSU can handle the upgrade also.. |

List the manufactuer and Amps on the 12V of your PSU. Should be on the side sticker of your PSU.
Watts can be misleading and dont tell us much. |

Thanks again for the reply...
Actually I'm away from my System now, meanwhile it would be very kind of you if you can give me the values that should be on the 12V of the PSU... I will check with these as soon as I get to my PC... it would be a great help...
I've been searching for this answer for so long - PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME FRIEND... What should be the values of Amps on the 12V line of a PSU, for it to be suitable for a Intel Core 2 QUAD Processor and a Card like XFX 8800 GTS...
Kindly help me and reply...
Thanks again !

HI..
Your gonna want at least 35amps on the 12v+ rail. That should be more then enough. I think a minimum of a 400watt PSU.
If you need some info on Power Supplies, check out this thread. It will set you off in the right direction. |

i basically hav a similar question i am running:-
Motherboard:- Asus M2N Sli Deluxe
Chip :- AMD +6000 athlon
RAM :- 4gigs
HDD :- 80 gig
PSU :-gigabyte odin 585W
and xfx 8800 GTS alpha dog edition 512mb OC
i was jus curious about this cos on the gfx card box it says recommended psu is 600W which puts me 25W short, so therefore my question is will it affect performce or will it result in something breaking????? |

You should be fine running a single card with that psu.
Just so you know you should be more worried about the amps on the 12v rail. Power Consumption And Temperature - Review Tom's Hardware : Nvidia GeForce 9800 GTX Review
That will give you an idea of the wattage that these cards pull.
