cant play crysis with playable framerates

    Hello,
Im running my machine with P4 3.00ghz H, 1gb ram and sapphire radeon x1950pro 512mb GPU.
Today ive got the new game, crysis. i tried it and frame are very low... around 19 no matter if it is on md or high settings 1024*768 no AA. All the games that i played before ran fine.(like bioshock)
    why i cant play crysis???????

Try updating your graphics card drivers at:

If that doesn't give you the FPS boost you need then:

you could upgrade your vid card, your processor, and all subsequent equipment to get into a dual core or quad core processor to help out your FPS :>

Simply put, Crysis is a beast in comparison to all other games. Those are decent and normal framerates for the settings in comparison to your rig.

Your cpu is definitely holding you back though.

That and the RAM...and ram is cheaper :P.

It seems to me that about now is a great time to upgrade, and with the new intel coming out or whatnot then maybe CPU prices will have a bit of a cut soon?

New mobo, CPU, RAM and GPU- ok so its basically a whole new build lol.

Simply put, because they are all no where near what Crysis is, as far as Graphics & what not go, can't even compare. which means, going to need some hefty hardware to effectively run Crysis at same framerates & percentage of options you were running the others on.

even those of us with systems far better to what your running (CPU, RAM, GPU) have a hard time with Crysis.
