Dell Dimension E510 Suggestion

Ive got a Dell Dimension E510 desktop Pentium 4 3.0 ghz processor with a gig of RAM and i figured its a pretty decent computer accept for its stock video card. Ive heard rumors of some dell computers not being able to take new vid cards cause the way they are built so i took a look inside and it is different from my last pc since the monitor plug goes straight into the motherboard instead of plugging directly into the Graphics card so im just trying to figure out if i can get a new card and if so what kinds am i limited to?

You can put a PCI-Express card in the E510, which means that you have a huge selection of cards that will work in it.

You will need a new power supply also if you get a decent graphics card, which would cost between $40-100 depending on what kind of video card you are looking at.

What is your budget for this and what are you planning on using it for.

Oh ok thanks well im getting the card so i can play all the top of the line games coming out like cod4 and stuff like that and i was thinking about spending around 200 for a new one or maybe find one on ebay or something.

Well, with a $200 budget, you will be able to play all the latest games coming out, but you won't be able to play everything at their highest settings.
