Nvidia Geforce 8500GT

Hello
I bought Geforce 8500 GT graphic card from which i suppose i can watch cable also. All I want to ask is how do i watch the cable. What drivers i need to install and what softwares. I got a CD with it but there is no info in that.
Please help me guys.

To watch any tv on your PC, you need a TV tuner. But even with a TV Tuner you may need a cable box to decode everything for you.

I believe that you would need a TV card to be able to watch cable with.

Although you can use that card to use a TV as your monitor.

your 8500 has TV OUT, not TV IN, which they have explained already.

One of these will let you watch TV assuming you hook it up properly.

if it has either VIVO or tv out as Nemowolf gives, then u should be able to use either a simple s-video cable or vivio cable (with composites) and u might need the wdm driver ;-)
