8800 GT with 1GB ram or 8800 GT 512MB ram...which one should i buy

The XFX 8800GT Alpha Dog edition is the better choice as it has the new G92 core GPU. It offers much higher performance than the Palit 8800GT 1GB at a lower price.

id eget the 512mb as well because 1gb or 512mb .. the 8800gt is still 256bit so it will choke a little at that res compared to a 382bit memory interface

It has the G92 core, which is the new core from nvidia..

Yeah i know but he said 8800gt which also is g92 core. he said 512 8800gt or 1gb 8800gt.

I dont think he mentioned 8800gts rev 2..



just re read the thread and no one mentioned the new g92 gts.
