quick silver u should read the review of the 3870 and the cheaper 3850 both are dx 10.1 and hav 4.1 model p s , that what it says in its review but u are right in one point that the 8800 is the best card for gaming by all mean so I think u should wait for it , but there is also a problem waiting by the time u get it dx 10.1 cards are goin to hit the market

hmm... i dont know how well 8500 can handle crysis... y not go for an AMD processor? my system spec is AMD Athlon xp dual core AM2 4000Ghz. 1gb 667mhz ddr2 512mb 8600gt ... plays well at 1024*768 wit high settings.. very high setting is disabled. cut scenes hav drag.. it plays wonderfully well with med setting AA turned off..
