Hi all, I got a Sony Vaio PCV-l630. (Personally I think it's a computing oddity...it's supposed to be a digital studio, but it only holds 256 mb max, onboard 4x ati rage 8vmb, and 17gigs) anyways, now that I actually trying to do something with this, I was thinking of upgrading the video card. Here's the problem:
- my comp is a slimtop, desktop but with laptop components
- the lcd monitor is sorta intergated (connector is very specific, can only work that cpu)
- it has an onboard video (no agp slot) 8vmb
I can disable the onboard video in the BIOS, but how do I install a pci card and still use the lcd and the connector on the motherboard? (without plugging anything into the pci card)
Is that possible? Or is there anyother way?
thanks
