What video card to buy???

Hello to my TechIMO buddies! I’ve got yet another question for ya…
A friend of mine wants to install an AGP video card that has the capability of connecting to his video camera through it’s output jacks (he’s telling me they are RCA connectors). I’m not up to speed on video teleconferencing so I’m not exactly sure what to suggest for him to buy. Any thoughts on this? Of course he’s wanting to buy an economical card, doesn’t have to be the “best of the best” if you know what I mean. Thank you!

Mike

I'm using a Radeon VE. for video card
But for video capture I'm using a Dazzle Usb The one I've got supports s-video in and rca jacks as well.
BTW I picked this one because the firewire cards that I could find didn't support the older conections like s-vid and Rca.

You could look into the Radeon 7500 AIW. I believe it has the necessary equipment for RCA video out cameras/camcorders. I don't think it's too pricey (around $150??). I think nVidia has a card or two that will do it also, but for things like video and such, I prefer the Radeon chipsets.
