| raedeon 7k 64mb ddr dual display,pci graphics card
hi, can anyone tell me why I can't get this card to work? i have a dell dimention 1100, celeron,
512mb ddrram 180gb hd,2.3ghz.
I disabled the onboard graphics card, went in the bios,intergrated devices set to auto theb powered down and connected the card and pluged in the monitor and hit on blank screen,had to reconnect to normal vga. could it be I need more ram? |

was it plugged into the proper VGA display connector on back?
(Dual Display, was it connected to the main display connection?)
Did you try to reboot a second time, sometimes it takes a reboot or two?
Did you make sure you didn't bump anything else in the case, cables, other cards, make sure the Vid card is properly seated, etc? |

yes it was seated clean,but i bought it off ebay and its probably dead on arrival, tried everything
for 4 hours and decided to purchase another one from his tech 128mb radeon 9250 dual tv out pci, i will try that one and hopefully it will work lol. thanks for the reply. |

OUCH!
Are they PCI or AGP? Maybe that is the issue. Don't you have to turn off Integrated to get a PCI card to work? |
