| Friend having problems hooking comp to TV
Hey guys,
So my friend wants to hook his 40" samsung lcd tv up to his computer.
He is using a DVI-HDMI cable, and the res is 1366x768, but his graphics card doesn't have a default one of that, and wont let him create a custom one with that res without giving an error.
Ideas?
Thanks
Wes
Edit - We tried installing rivatuner to make a custom res, but instead it would give us errors again, or just not do 1366x768, and on top of that it would always go to the monitor res list instead of the tv list, and then it would leave all these custom res' in the program, which we want to get rid of, but how? - Edit

Yes, but it specifically says 1366x768 res on the specs...we'll try 1280x720 though, to see how that turns out. |

And the verdict is that 1280x720 looks poopy, and it clips off the edges of the screen... |
