| PC monitor run HDTV? 1080i 720i ??
It is my understanding that a good quality 24"+ monitor (1920 x 1200) will display a HDTV signal?
I just bought the ACER 24" WUSXGA LCD monitor and am wondering if I use the HDMI signal from a HD satellite receiver to the computer monitor HDMI input, will it be able to display a full HD signal from a satellite receiver? I am pretty sure that it will because the native resolution of the monitor is actually greater than what is required by 1080i HD. I am just looking for clarification that this will work without the need of a TV tuner card before I order a new receiver from dish. I know I asked about if the monitor would display a regular sat image, but this might be a little different for full on HD?? THX
