I just reinstalled XP on my computer and now I have an error with the C-Media AC97 Audio Device, it says "This device cannot start (code 10). I tried going to teh driver tab and updating it but teh wizard couldnt find a newer updated version...when I goodled this it seems heapd os people have this problem and I need a updated one but I don't know which to download.
All I know about what kind of computer I have is from going My Computer - Properties and it says
System:
Microsoft Windows XP
Professional
Version 2002
Service Pack 3
Computer:
Intel(R)
Pentium(R) 4 CPU 1.60 GHz
1.61 GHz, 736 MB of RAM
and on the front if says "powered by ASUS" but no model number or anything. I brought it 2nd hand and all it came with aswell was a booklet about the motherboard which says it is an ASUS P4S333-VM (SIS 650 Chipset DDR266)
Do I need to more information than that to get the right dirver?? I dont where else to look to get more info if I need it. All I know is as soon as I reinstalled windows XP on my computer the sound won't work and it is the
