Help! Upgrading from 4000MX to 6200

My system can't detect the Nvidia 6200 AGP that I got from a friend. My current system was able to detect the 4000MX agp but not the 6200.

Here are my specs

Motherboard: Epox 8K9AI
Chipset: VIA KT 400 AGP 8x 3.0
Processor: Athlon XP 2600+
Ram: 1 Gig PC 3200 DDR
Currrent VC: Nvidia Inno3d 4000MX
Trying to use: Inno3d 6200

Also would the PSU affect the detection of a VC.

Upon doing some research, I have found that other people have had problems with this card, and they are all running the same chipset (the VIA KT 400). They recommend BIOS update (instructions for this can be found on your motherboard manufacturer's website). You might want to ask them to shove it in their computer again quick just to make sure it still works.

Also, the PSU shouldn't have any effect, unless it's a real piece of junk. Make sure that if the card has an external power connector (it would most likely a standard molex connector inside the case) that that is plugged in (I really doubt it though, the power draw of the 6200 might even be less than the 4000mx).
