| need help picking new video card
ok i have maybe max of 100quid to spend on a video card
i was thinking of getting either a BFG GeForce 8800 GT OC2 from here TigerDirect.com 404 Error - Page Not Found
or the BFG GeForce 9600 GT OC2 from here TigerDirect.com 404 Error - Page Not Found
i want to play crysis and most new game on high
any input into which card i shud buy wud be much preciatted ty
also atm not using vista but i maybe upgrading soon for direct x 10 and i got a 400watt psu
but im gettin a new 750watt soon thanks |

You'll get better performance from the 8800GT OC.
They outperform the 9600GT in most every benchmark.

HI, welcome to TIMO. 
Out of the 2 cards you linked to, the 8800GT is faster. The 9600 uses a little less power though. Either should run fine on your PSU.  |

Of the two, the XFX GeForce 8600 GT XXX would be the best bet performance wise.
But either way you go, either of the 8600GT will struggle to play Crysis at anything more than medium settings. Even then it will stutter in the high action scenes. You'll be lucky to hit 20-25 fps at the most.
