Can someone recommend me a new card?

I currently have a evga 9600gt(Newegg.com - EVGA 512-P3-N861-AR GeForce 9600 GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards) but i have a small case and the card is extremely long and its blocking 2 sata ports which i need for a new dvd burner and hd..so i want a smaller card with either the same specs..or better...any recommendations?

I can't seem to find card lengths for the 9600gt, but from reviews i found it was too long for a lot of people. I'm pretty sure the HD 3850 is a much smaller card with around the same performance, and a bit cheaper.

well you are pretty much looking at a low end card then. the better cards are bigger for a reason.

Keep the card and get a new case. You can get an Antec300 or an Coolermaster Centurion 590 for $60 Both are very nice cases and have more than enough room for your need.

I agree with 2. IF you can get a new case, go that route, you'll never run into this problem again.
But the bad thing is, as GPU's get better, they get bigger. At least the PCB's do. So what your looking for really doesn't exist. And in all reality, the 9600 isn't that long of a card, your case must be pretty small.
(Your links didn't work BTW)
I'd say go for a new case if you can..
