Visiontek Vs. HIS 2400Pro for PCI

Which would you recommend if you only had a PCI interface; 3.0 Pentium 4-HT with 1 GB ram to work with.

Visiontek Radeon 2400 Pro Video Card - 256MB DDR2, PCI, DVI, VGA, HDTV 900168 at TigerDirect.com

Newegg.com - HIS Hightech H24PF512PNP Radeon HD 2400PRO 512MB 64-bit GDDR2 PCI HDCP Ready Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards
HIS is 512 MB but no one but newegg sells it and I havent been able to find any reviews/ratings.

Any suggestions other than get a new comp?
Are there any better cards out there for PCI?

Nope, those would be the fastest PCI cards you can get. And really, the manufacture only matters when their warranties are different. I'd opt for the one that has the best warranty, which I believe they both carry lifetime warranties if I remember right.
So really, whatever one is cheaper and easier to get a hole of. The 512Mb of RAM will help with larger resolutions, but that's the only difference.

PS. Welcome to TIMO.

Not really. But it would depend how you have them setup. If your spanning across two screens, then technically yes. But more then likely you won't be playing games like that, so probably wouldn't matter.
