| Samsung T220 22" monitor not working...
Hello,
I bought a Samsung T220 22" monitor today, and made sure it's functioning properly @ the store.
When I got home and plugged it in (I've tried DVI, then unplugged and tried D-sub, both gave me the same result) it went blank, and the led began to flicker slowly...as if it is asleep or something...
Does anyone know how I can get it to work? It's really important for me.
Thanks in advance!

Are you sure your computer is sending a signal to the DVI port? Is this the first time you are usnig a DVI monitor with your computer?

Yes, I have a Geforce 8800GT card and I've plugged this monitor before...
The thing was that I bought the monitor, didnt check it, came home and discovered there's a burnt pixel line on it - it was working properly, displaying everything.
Then I went there and had it replaced, checked that it's working and not faulty, and went back home to install it. That's when I got the blank screen and the led flickering...
I'd like to mention that when the screen isnt plugged in it shows a "Check Signal Cable" message that hops around all over the screen, which means the monitor itself is working properly...my issue is with the computer |

Make sure the monitor is plugged in correctly.
Also try a different DVI port. |

I'd also like to mention that Im running my old screen on the same port, and my current screen works just fine, but when I replace it with the Samsung (at the same port) the Samsung isnt working... |

Make sure (which I'm sure you did, I'm just checking) all the cables are secure on the monitor, including its power, etc. Also, since you just bought it today, would you be able to return/exchange it from the store? |

I did make sure of all of that, now here's the fun part:
I turned the computer off for 15 minutes, turned off the monitor as well, plugged the monitor...
After 15 minutes I turned on the monitor then the computer...working like a charm.
Is there any logical explanation to this? Or is it just one of those ghost bugs in machines? |

Maybe the Power wasn't working properly, and now it is.
Not enough voltage to the monitor. |
