Ultra, Rosewill, and Kingwin are NOT good PSU's.
I agree with JP. |

Out of all the reviews and testings i've ready about the ULTRA X3 1000w PSU have been great, 8 and 9 out of 10. Thats common when they first come out...
BUT, 9 out of 10 reviews are total hogwash anyway...
Its not the same as testing most other components...
You cant just fire up an app like pcmark and run a few rounds and get a benchie to compare.
Unfortunately PSU's have to stand the test of time and torture to be truly tested...
The reasons i recommended it is because i use it, and i know it works with this card, the modular connections is fantastic, that is the 1 thing i love about it, no extra cables! Thats all well and fine, but WHY make the design mistake of making the main necessary cables modular as well?
It doesnt make ANY sense at all...
Theres other great PSU's to add to the list, Thermaltake, Hiper, Rosewill, Kingwin. Thermaltake is only good on its extreme high end anymore...
Hiper is OK but not even in the TOP half..
Rosewill is a crapshoot, you dont even know what your getting!!!
Kingwin may not be bad, but its not in the top half either especially for the price... | There IS no battle...
There are proven good PSU's and there are garbage, and only a handful in between.
If you need more info, read through the sticky and read some of the links that I included

hey JP i saw that program (forgot its name) off of major geeks. what exactly does that do. I found your post interesting because when I built this rig I myself found my psu pretty obsolete and pretty much bought whatever I felt was enough power. I read your first post and a few more but that was about it and was curious what that program did. |

If you are talking about Everest....
Unfortunately that is a bit outdated for newer hardware...
Often it wont include alot of info...
But it is a good starting point if it does show the correct values under "sensor"
However Software readings of questionable hardware probes is iffy at best...
There ARE newer options like PCWizard... but overall you simply buy a good brand that is overkill for your projected use and your fine |

The "subject" is determined by the OP (original poster)
He and I are conducting a dialog...
He asked a question, and I answered... I see no reason why you should have anything to say about it...

I have a card just like yours Nach0, it worked great after I enabled cross-fire x in Catalyst Control, before that it seemed like only one of the GPUs was being used. Good luck I really like mine, just remember both 6 pin plugs, I forgot one and was really upset about getting a bad card lol.
