From XP to Vista: WMP video display now bad
My video (MPEG2) display in Windows Media Player is now slow, with pixles hanging and horisontal lines appearing. I just got a new PC with Vista SP1, the same videos worked fine on my old XP. Screen is the same.
Anybody had the same trouble? I tried downloading codecs and screen drivers but to no help so far. Still, I suspect the issue lies with screen adapters or VGA displays drivers. It doesnt help to run the video withother programs such as WinDVD, DivX, Realplayer etc.
I just expected Vista to deal elegantly with such issues. So far the opposite seems to be the case.
