So I have been doing quite a bit of research of late into the idea of buying a widescreen computer monitor with its main use being for my Xbox 360. Two of my friends play on monitors and I notice when we get together and LAN our systems that they have the best picture quality out of everyone, even better then the kid that brings his HDTV.
So I have a few questions that can hopefully be answered.
1.) I know that 1680x1050 looks amazing with a 360, but would the 1920x1200 resolution of a 24" monitor be to much and actually make the image quality decrease?
2.) Do all Xbox 360's support HD if you go buy the HDMI cable for it? If so how well does that look on monitors?
3.) If a monitor does not have a VGA port, how well does a VGA to DVI converter work with xbox 360? Does it display just as nice or nicer then VGA does?
4.) What are your recommendations on widescreen monitors $400 and under for use with Xbox 360?? What monitors in those parameters have peopel had good experience with?
Thank you in advance for all the help!
