Monitor Upgrade
I'm thinking of buying this monitor,
Newegg.com - Acer X223Wbd Black 22" 5ms Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 2500:1 - LCD Monitors
I'm not really into gaming and have an old radion 9800se on an AMD xp2800
Anybody know the brand ? and any opinions welcome.

I have the 20" and that exact monitor you linked to. Both are great. The 20" I've had since X-mas, and the 22" I've had for about 4-5 months now. Both still work like the day I got them, with no issues at all.
My only complaint about them is there is no height adjustment. They tilt, but there is no way to raise the actual LCD up.
But I would still buy it again. For the price, it's hard to beat IMO.Q6600@4Ghz | i7 920@4.4Ghz |E6320@3.5Ghz

I'm also considering this one
Newegg.com - Hanns·G Hi-221DPB Black 22" 5ms Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 1000:1 Built in Speakers - LCD Monitors
contrast ratio is 1000:1, versus acer at 2500:1 for $10 more, rest seems comparable
Thoughts ?

I bought one Newegg.com - Acer X223Wbd Black 22" 5ms Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 2500:1 - LCD Monitors about 1 month ago i think ( or more ? ) and when i got it i was really worried about it having stuck/dead pixels .
It was flawless and i was very happy . The change from a 20 " CRT is amazing and so far i had no problems with it whatsoever .
My roommate asked me to order one for him about 10 minutes after i placed mine on the desk .
His was also without any dead/stuck pixels and i would recommend it for a budget monitor . 22" LCD under 170$ with free shipping .... kinda hard to pass.

I have this.
Newegg.com - SAMSUNG 2253BW Black 22" 2ms(GTG) DVI Widescreen LCD Monitor with HDCP Support 300 cd/m2 DC 8000:1 - LCD Monitors
And I really like it. Colours are nice and the screen is clear and sharp. Only complaint is that there is a little bleeding at the 4 edges which does get annoying at times. However it is only noticable when the screen is dark (at least dark grey).i5 3750 | ASUS P75 | GTX560Ti | 8gb Corsair Vengence

I actually got my mom a HannsG screen, it was only a 19". Honestly, I was not impressed with it. It was OK, but after looking at my screen, then hers, mine was much more vibrant IMO.
That's the only Hanns screen I've ever seen with my own two eyes though.Q6600@4Ghz | i7 920@4.4Ghz |E6320@3.5Ghz
