Basic question about dual monitors for an older system

I have an older computer system and would like to make it a dual monitor. I am not a gamer and do not watch movies on my computer (except some youtube videos and current quality is acceptable). I am content with what I have...just wishing I could expand my desktop with dual monitors to do some accounting work.

My current graphic card is a Nvidia GeForce2 MX in what I believe is a AGP 4x port. I have one VGA monitor and one VGA/DVI monitor available to use.

I have been cruising the net trying to find some answers but am getting lost. I have alot of questions and could not find answers so I thought I would ask for your input.

You'll need a video card that has two outputs on it to run dual monitors in the manner you describe. I believe that the ol' GeForce2 MX has only a single VGA output.

you are correct...it only has 1 VGA output and an S video I believe.

funny...the one you suggested that I buy is the one I have been coming back to again and again on my own.

The video card that AR posted would work fine or some cheapo PCI video card
