| Question on LCD resolutions.
Just wondering what is the highest resolution is in current technology for LCD monitors?
I sorta know how this list starts from low to high but, I'm not sure how it ends. Also if you know of any monitors that support these higher resolutions after 1280x1024 that'd be great too. Becuase I'm getting sick of playing my new games on 1280x1024 and 1280x960 resolutions.
800x600
1024x768
1152x864
1280x720
1280x768
1280x800
1280x960
1280x1024 And this is all I know. But What's after 1280x1024?

A typical 22" LCD will have a native resolution of 1680x1050
A typical 24" LCD will have a native resolution of 1920x1200
A typical 30" LCD will have a native resolution of 2560x1600
You may also find an occassional 1920x1080 for 22-24" monitors

well that pretty much aswers my question, a little shopping quest revealed to me, that the best I'm going to get for what I can afford is 1680x1050.
But this question has been itching in the back of my mind. Les say I get a 32" HDTV and I hook up my GPU to it through HDMI. I wonder Do HDTV's have resolution settings like monitors? |
