New graphics card for my Dell

I have just purchased a Dell Inspiron 530,
Intel Quad Core Q6600 - 2.4GHz
4GB 800MHz DDR2 Ram

I purposely left the cheapest graphics card in the system so I could upgrade it myself,
256MB ATI® Radeon HD 3450.

What would everyone recommend?? I wanted to spend a maximum of £150 (less if possible obviously). Would I be able to get a good graphics card for this much?? If so can anyone make any suggestions? As guessed I am pretty new to all this. Nvidia or ATI??

I will probably be playing new games (such as Call Of Duty: World at War, etc etc)

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,
Dan

Head over to New Egg, set your price range, and look at the insane deals they always have running. Youll see lots of reviews on the popular cards too.

You may want to look at the power supply to ensure it has the correct wires, if any are needed for the card, and enough power to run it without stress

The I-530 has either a 300W or 350W PSU, depending on graphics and CPU options. For video cards, an 8600GT or GTS, or a 8800GT will work with that PSU.
