Video RAM issue

Hi all,

I have a question regarding faulty video ram. I recently experienced faulty displays when logging in to world of warcraft and soon after I had it no matter what I did on my PC. Running a program for memtest of the graphics card produced several thousand errors in various sectors of the video RAM. I suppose it is not possible to repair that but if any of you has any advice on how it might be done, I would very much appreciate it. By the way, it is a ASUS NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX.

RMA? How long have you owned it?

I bought it in August 2008 and have not had any issues before. Just died on me, it seems. I should mention that I kept the PC running most of the time, though, so that the total hours of operation equal pretty much six months, I'd say.

still should be under warranty... check through your maker of the card for the warranty.. some will take them back as an RMA.. others like Sapphire want you to take it back to the place of purchase... all depends on the card and the return policies... leaving you pc on all the time doesn't matter... it's the point of sale until the time of the RMA
