The best Graphics Card for my pc (Oblivion)? Help Please =o

Hmmm...when I put in the G.Card in and turn the PC on, it's a black screen, until I connect the Monitor to the G.Card, then it shows and every thing looks bigger.

And when I install the drivers with the CD it came with, the screen goes black again with a small white line blinking at the top left corner of my screen. Like when you're typing something.

THEN...I have to put connect the Monitor back into the original place to show again, and everything looks normal. Except I still can't Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion..

So I'll just wait for you to give me more directions, because I really don't know what to do at this point =/

Have you tired using the latest drivers from Nvidia?

Did you uninstall/disable the onboard graphics in Device Manager?

I've downloaded the latest driver but I havn't uninstalled the onboard graphics...If I do an dsomething goes wrong am I able to get it back? o_o

Oh! Also when I reinstalled it, the black screen blinked on, off, on, off and then on, then I had to connect the monitor back into the original place. Also, I ran Oblivion (the oldblivion too) and it had a new error message: oblivion has failed to initialize renderer NiXAdpapterDesc::GetDeviceCaps() failed

..Yea...that was after it was uninstalled and after it was reinstalled, with just the Monitor connected to the Graphics Card.
