ati 9600 agp problem

I have an agp 9600 256mb graphics card,
with latest drivers
dell Lcd monitor
300 w power supply
3 ghz cpu 800 fsb
intel 865gl motherboard
1 gig 266 ddr ram
soundbaster audiology sound card

My problem is that when I play music through my pc the screen starts to flicker
It looks pretty bad, when I stop the music it goes normal again.

I have disabled all onboard video, sound
checked for any lose connections and interferance,

Can you help. Do yo know whats wrong.

I have taken out the card and turned on the onboard graphics and all is well with the system the problem lies with the card.
