I wouldn't run a 280 on a 500w PSU. I'd get at least a 600w-700w.
The 260 would probably ok on that OCZ, but your really pushing it.
As far as your PSU, I wouldn't trust any GPU on it. I'd upgrade PSU's first, then go from there.  |

I don't trust ebay for nothing when it comes to electronics. SOOOooooo many things could be wrong with it, you just have no idea.
And the older a PSU is, the weaker it gets. It may not be by much, but it does get weaker. |

ok, so im doing a very risky thing, bought my ram, fans, watercooling bits, motherboard, about to get graphics card and probably power supply from ebay. problem is that i dont know how much the graphics card will make so i dont know what my budget is yet. what would a 2nd hand gtx280 be worth? that has only been used for around 3 months? |
