| Worth upgrading GFX card?
I currently have a PC with
2.2ghz Pentium dual core CPU
8600gt 256mb ddr3
3gb ddr2 ram
With the crap cpu, would it even be worth upgrading the graphics card to something more high end? |

If I get a good gfx card could my comp actually be considered a gaming computer haha

I doubt it, depends on the brand/quality of the PSU, and amp ratings, mainly on the +12V rail.
(Is there a brand name printed on the sticker on the PSU? if not sure, check and report back)
not too many "dependable"/quality 300W units out there, not really until you get to the 400-450W or higher ranges. |

if thats the case, I wouldn't trust it, its a 50/50 deal (could be ok, could be bad idea), but IMO and most likely many others, wouldn't trust it, would end up putting a quality brand unit in there to be sure. especially with no sticker as to the brand or specs of the unit on it. |

You shouldn't even be running what you've got on a 300w power supply. |
