    Video Card Bus showing as PCI when in AGP

     
    Hello. I am using an ASUS k8ne Deluxe mother board with an Nvidia geforce 6800 128mb in the AGP slot. When I show the graphics card information it says the card is in the PCI slot. Does this effect performance? Is this a motherboard or a video card problem? Here is a picture:

    Hi & Welcome to TechIMO

    Just guessing, I think you have a motherboard chipset driver issue. You can download the nForce3 chipset from the nvidia site. After that you will want to install the geforce video driver again. Here's a link to the Win XP 32 bit driver package.

    Thank you JLK, that did the trick. It now says AGP 8x. Games run smoother also. Thanks for the help!
