Lcd tv resolution

I have a Baird 32 inch tv which i am trying to use as a second display.
I have a 8600GT.Am running Windows 7.

My monitor is a Hanns-G HW191D resolution 1440x900.

Ive cloned the displays so tv displays smae screen as my monitor.
Is it possible to get the tv to display at its native 1920x1080?
Ive tried several ways through windows.
I think the problem lies with the fact windows finds my Tv as a Generic Plug and play monitor and the Nvidia control panel is displaying it as TARGA LCDTV15 which suggests to me it thinks its a 15" display, and when i select the resoulution as 1920x1080 it wont display wide screen and i end up with only part of the tv screen used.

This ones got me stumped . Ive searched for drivers for my tv online but cannot find any. The code on back of tv is PR32BAIRD .

Any help would be much appreciated.
