xhd 3000 compatable Video Card

The video card I've got is an ATI Radian 2400 Pro I wanna know what video card I can get thats newish so I can see my cd rom bootup screen and the windows logo at the startup of every sessioin of windows. on my screen

Cause the video card I've have is not combatible with my Gateway xhd and I've upgraded the driver for my screen and ... "no go". Cause its some feature that my screen has that'll allow me to view all what I descriebed above. If you could please post what feature that the xhd 3000 needs that my ati 2400 pro does't have to allow me to view my windows startup screen.

2400 pro should allow your system to run normally.

sounds like something was left out installing of the drivers, or possibly a conflict with the previous cards drivers not being fully cleaned out upon uninstall... or possibly a setting in windows that got changed somehow, during the upgrade?
