Well, it might work, but it won't work very well with the video card you have.

it will run, but you'll need to lower your resolution and turn down the settings, you should be able to get barely playable to decent frame rates (I'm estimating probably 20-ish for frames per second at 1024x768)with the game though, just not have everything cranked up in eye candy. a Geforce 8200 is quite a bit better than a Geforce 6100 and I know on my old Motherboard Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter was able to only do about 20fps with that GPU and the 2.3GHz AMD X2 I had in it, GRAW is less demanding than COD4, so I'd expect similar performance with the slightly better hardware etc...

So you are saying that the game will run on 20frame/s? cod4 and mw2 use 64frame/s

install it and find out then.

not everyone has the exact setup you have, so we can't definitively say yes or no.

other than Estimate, guess, advise, etc etc from what we do know of games and running on weak onboard video.

best suggestion is save up some money and install a dedicated gaming graphics card into the system, you'd want some thing along the lines of at least a Geforce 9500GT, Geforce GT220, Geforce 9600 series, or Radeon 4870. depending on the pricing of these things.

IMO your best bet would be the GT220, its low powered, doesn't have a high demand on Power requirements, and runs almost as good, sometimes as good as a Radeon 4670, which is just under or same as a 9600GT.

where'd you get the 64fps from?

like I said its a estimate/guess, based on experience with onboard video, the older game I ran which was less demanding on an onboard video chip 2 generations earlier than your 8200 ran about at that rate, COD4 is more demanding, the hardware has improved, but not THAT much, so I wouldn't expect the game to run much better than it would with the older game.

I have COD4, but as both of my PC's now have higher end gaming video cards in them, one has a 512MB 9800GTX, the other a 1GB GTX 285, can't really test it either since the PC with the 9800GTX has a 1.6GHz Pentium Dual core, and the other has a 2.66GHz Intel Core i7 quad core, so can't say for sure.

Are you serious?

The 4870 is not at all the same as a 9600 GT and sure as hell isn't under it.

The GT220 has only 2/3 as many stream processors as the 9600 GT.
