| Here is an article with the Geforce version of Fermi running. Read up and enjoy. My concern...look how freaking long that card is.

What happened last time when they tried showing off how close they were after ATI released the 5800s? Oh ya, they showed some half-assed thrown together board of what it could look like (did a much worse job than anyone else trying to fake it with photoshop would have too).
Notice the fan is not spinning either. Fun Photo of the Week: GF100 (the first GeForce GPU based on ... on TwitPic
You can clearly see the light coming through behind it and there is a spot on the center section of the fan that is lighter grey (looks like residue from a sticker or something) and it's not motion blurred at all.
If they really had it up and working good, why have they not posted benchmarks? You know nVidia loves to throw benchmarks out whenever possible to show how much better their stuff is than everyone else (and regularly post them well before they are ready for release).

Even if the fan was spinning, you'd still be able to see light through the back. I can't tell whether the fan is spinning or not. As far as benchmarks go, my guess is they aren't showing them because they suck right now. |

Yes, but the light would be dimmed, not bright. |

Can no one take it as they see it? Why be so negative on things that have not been released. Do you want the nvidia cards to be really crap and overpriced?
I hope the card performs as good as they say, it does look very long.... mabye as long as Ati's new 5970 which is 12.16" (wont even fit in my case).

It doesn't look all that long to me. Looks to be about the same as the GX2. In fact maybe even a bit shorter.
I believe it's real. Don't see why anyone wouldn't honestly...
It's possible it's got a hole in the PCB just like the 295's, 9800gx2's, etc. |

Notice the fan is not spinning either. Fun Photo of the Week: GF100 (the first GeForce GPU based on ... on TwitPic Oh Right, Because its not possible for the the system in the pic to actually be shut off and the motherboard in the very top of the image the actual system running whatever is on the screen in background, right?
You can clearly see the light coming through behind it and there is a spot on the center section of the fan that is lighter grey (looks like residue from a sticker or something) and it's not motion blurred at all. Again, system could be off, and fan not moving allowing light to shine through, not to mention as Karma said a hole behind the PCB to allow greater airflow intake to the card.

You can clearly see the fan is spinning.... the white bit on the centre is the reflection from the pci slot or something else behind camera.... |

Guess we just have to wait for them to come out then buy a few. Do a little bench testing of our own to see if we can get the fan to spin.
