Arrrggghhh... Why do so many think we're psychics.
Come on people, please start using some common sense here, we need details on the system in question, not just a Vague description of the problem, and left at that.
What are the Specs of the PC.
Is this a PC or A Laptop?
CPU: Brand, Model, Speed
RAM: Type or RAM, Speed
Motherboard: Brand & Model
Power Supply: Brand, Model, Wattage Total, Amp or Wattage Rating for +12V Power (Most if not all of this info is found on a Sticker on the PSU in the case)
Operating System:
Video Card: Couldn't hurt to be a bit more specific on the card, like The Brand and Model # for it.
Is this a PCI Slot 9500? Is this a PCI Express 9500? If this is a Laptop, is this a Mobile 9500 series?
Mobile chips are usually Geforce 9500M or some designation like that, most if not all Desktop ones are 9500 GT.
Have you Updated Windows Direct X to the latest (be it your running XP, Vista or 7)
Have you updated the GPU (Video card) Drivers to the latest?
Have you Updated the Games your playing to latest versions if available?
What is the Temperatures the Video card is running at when Idle and When Playing games?
(If you don't know, or how to tell, download and Run GPU-Z, GPU-Z Video card GPU Information Utility it can tell you what you Core Temperatures are)
If this is a Desktop, is the fan on the video card running, if it has a fan?
Has this always happened to this Card? or is it Just Recently?
Is this card a Recent Upgrade? or is it the first Graphics card in the PC since the PC's creation?i7 940//Corsair H60//EVGA X58 SLI LE//6GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz//2x EVGA GTX 560 Ti FPB SLI//NZXT Hale82 850W//CM 690 II Advanced//Win7 64//WD 74GB V-raptor, 750GB Black, 1.5TB Green

here you can see a comparison of the 7850 vs GTX 570 (GTX 560 Ti 448 is reduced spec 570, so the 448 Core would be close to the 7850 in performance, if not just behind it a hair): AnandTech |...
