Replacing a Macbook Pro Graphics card?

Okay so I bought my friends the Left 4 Dead 2 four pack. They all said their macs were compatible, however I shouldn't have believed them. My friend has a MacBook Pro 1,1 running Snow Leopard; and is unfortunately under the minimum specs. All his specs are fine except for the graphics which is so bad, I thought it must be integrated. However, according to this website , the graphics is not integrated and is actually slotted in a 16 lane PCI-Express bus. So, would that enable me to open up his MacBook and switch out the card? I was thinking of having him buy a 9400m and Ebay and putting it in his MacBook. Is there any unwritten Mac code or anything else Mac affected that will not allow me to do this? TY and please tell me if you need any additional info or clarification in case that didn't make any sense

From my limited knowledge of the MBP I'd almost certainly say no. Most 99% of notebooks and undoubtedly 99.9% if not 100% of Mac books do not have gpu's that can be upgraded.
