Vertical lines are wavy...I don't think it's the monitor

My video just recently started this vertical wiggling, the horizontal lines are straight. I plugged the monitor into my laptop, it worked perfect. So, I un-installed and re-installed the drivers to no avail. I have the res @ 1024x768 (32bit) 75Hz, if I change the refresh rate any lower is gets worse.
Can anybody give me any insight? Oh, and nothing new has been placed near it for there to be an interference issue.

If your monitor looks good on the laptop but not on the desktop it is either your video card or power supply. (obviously not the monitor)

I would start with the power supply first. Any chance you have one you could substitute?

onboard video, so no video card, so that rules out a video card.

Could be the onboard graphics chip, but could also be the PSU like eddie mentioned.

I'd probably lean towards the PSU as well, now that we have a better idea of what we're dealing with as far as hardware goes.
