    S1922a Black Screen

     
    I just bought an S1922a 18.5" Compaq LCD monitor, plugged it in, and not 5 min later the screen goes black. I unplugged it, checked all the cables, then plugged just the power cable in. The blue power light is extremely dim and is blinking. Any ideas as to what the problem is?

    Did you try a different monitor to make sure your video card is working properly?

    Yes, I have tried just about every single combination possible. Used a different PC, tested other monitors, tried all the 3 cable types. Nothing worked.

    Do you mean to say that when you tested other monitors on the first computer, they didn't work? if so, then it's as Osprey suggested...
