My 6200 has a 4 pin molex power connector on it. It won't work without plugging that in. does your model have that connector?

    Hi Markhus,

    Welcome to TechIMO.

Although you have not told us exactly which Geforce 6200 you are using, I would check the power requirements carefully against the power supply in your Dim 8200.

The card they have has an AGP Universal Slot, and according to the PC's specs it supports AGP 2x/4x on the slot, 1.5v, the card should work with the slot, should be able to use 1.5v power on the slot.

but looks like the 8200 comes stock with a 250W Power supply.

What I think the OP needs to do for us, is look at the sticker or label on the Power supply, and tell us what the +12V Amperage rating is.
