Hi all, I am having a crisis here. I'm about to go crazy trying to figure out how to make a custom resolution for my new Gigabyte Radeon HD 6850 1GB card. On my old Nvidia card my resolution was 1360x768 and now that I've upgraded the darn radeon won't let me use it. With the nvidia card I had to do a custom resolution to obtain the 1360x768, but was still able to get. Now I have upgraded card with my new DIY computer and can't get it to work. Every time I try to customize a resolution (via HDMI) it only gives HD resolutions. The highest it will allow me to go is 1280x 720. I understand that 1360x768 is a standard resolution, but it looks better on my HDTV. I have tried connecting via VGA, but that limits me majorly I can't got higher that 1280x1024 for some reason with it. This has bugged me since I finished building it this morning. Gigabyte basically told me to use a 3rd party app or send it back. AMD said it was an EDID issue, but why would it work with nvidia? After this hassle I may not buy another ATI card.
