Really need some [Graphics Card] help

So I just built my new system everything worked great. put in the graphics card seated properly, but when I connect the monitor to the card it doesn't work. I get the post beep but the screen just stays black. I even get the graphics card fan to turn on. Its a asus radeon 6770 with a asrock z68m/usb3 board.

OK, total specs, and exact info on power supply, brand and +12V amperage from sticker.

But sometimes that happens to me and all I do is turn off the monitor and turn it back on and it comes up

I've helped...by renaming the thread to be useful - most people would skip threads called "Help" (or similar, like "Really need some help") as it doesn't give a clue what the issue is...
