Which graphics card to get for old PC?

I have got an old pc which i am trying to connect to my panasonic tv, the problem is the PC only has a vga port and the tv only has hdmi.

I am buying a new graphics card which has the correct ports so i can connect directly into the tv with no adapter. I just want to check it will work with the spec of my pc as its quite old.

    My PC specs are:

Intel pentium 4 PU 3.06 GHz 2 CPUs
    1024 MB RAM
    unsure on motherboard

I was looking at this gpu, would this work ok?
Asus AMD Radeon HD 6450 Silent Graphics Card (1GB, PCI-E, Low Profile, DDR3, 3 Years Warranty): Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories

    Thanks in advance

Does the mobo have an empty PCI-E slot and what is the power rating of your power supply?

Hi thanks for the quick reply, i think the psu is 250 watts and unsure about the pci-e slots but i have uploaded 2 pics above, hopefully these can help.

Do you reckon this will work in the pc, not put a gpu in before so just wanna double check before hand.

    Thanks
