    Set Up Advice

    Hi All

Hoping you guys have the knowhow I don't, to complete a home set up - I'm connected to my pc 24/7 - disabled so stuck in bed most of the time but not a gamer so don't need anything requiring it's own nuclear generator lol. TV & Movie streaming with a site of browsing and graphic/web design.

I'm looking for the following set up
    1: Screen by Sofa
    2: TV in Living Room
    3: Screen by Bed
    4: TV in Bedroom
    5: Screen in Kitchen

Essentially displays 1&3, and 2&4 can be duplicates of themselves - 5 I'd like to be versatile. Would be nice to find software that'd make them flip around as and when but that may be a tall order Right now I have 2 displays recognised on windows - the screens are on a split VGA and the tv's on a split HDMI and the results are terrible - the resolution and sizes jump about and 90% of the time I'm switching plugs when I change rooms.

Win7 quad core amd with 8gb ram. GeForce nVidia card atm but don't mind changing - low income though. Was told using a display port I could get windows to recognise all displays individually but this seemed too good to be true.....

    thank you all so much

    Ky

Windows can recognize all the displays individually if you have the right amount of video cards and power to supply them.

Random question, how far are all these monitors going to be from the system? All the monitors will need to obviously plug into the computer itself and from the looks of it you are already saying that these monitors are gonna be in other rooms. That is gonna be the real challenge.

I only live in a 1 bed bungalow so a 5m HDMI cable runs from the pc to any screen no problem.

And this is what I'm asking - what Video cards would people suggest?
