    GeForce GTX560 Problems

I recently bought a Nvidia Geforce GTX560 graphics card, I uninstalled the drivers and everything from the previous card, and put the new card in.

Inserted the CD, the auto run didnt pick it up so i opened it manually and went into the UI. When the UI opened I clicked drivers, it flicked for abit then said graphics card has been successfully installed and rebooted.

When it booted back up it was still in the 900 odd resolution and found out that it wasnt installed.

I have checked that the card is in properly and is connected to power.

I need help getting this to work, so if specs or anything is needed, ask how I get it and ill post here.

Download, install a driver cleaner program like this one Phyxion.net - Driver Sweeper

run it, remove the old display drivers and any of its associated drivers (for example with Nvidia, remove Display Drivers, PhysX, and 3D Vision, etc)

Make sure you have the latest Drivers downloaded and saved to the desktop first though.

DO NO use the old drivers on the CD unless you have to, their outdated.

Go to nvidia's website, and download the latest drivers for your Video card, and Version of Windows you are running.

Run the driver cleaner, uninstall the drivers, and what not.

reboot the PC, let windows load and install its default VGA drivers, then if it asks to install or search the web to install the drivers for your card, cancel that, find the driver package on your desktop, double click it to install it, install everything you need (3D vision can be skipped if your only using a single display or now 3D glasses),

If windows has to reboot one more time, do so, if not, then just set your res you want for your desktop and you should be good to go.

I downloaded the Driver Sweep and cleaned all of the Nvidia things.

I checked the Chipset, Display and Physx, went analyze and clean.

I rebooted the computer and ran it again and it can still find 1, which is Nvidia Display, might be because I have the graphics card in the slot?

As for the drivers I downloaded the Geforce > GeForce 500 series > Windows 7 64-bit > English US.
