What is the difference between Ati HD6770 1GB ddr3 and Asus HD6670 1gbn ddr5?
I bought a PC with Asus HD6670 1gb ddr5. Should I switch it for the other graphics?

The 6670 is a less poweful card, by a little bit.
The memory is slower in that particular 6770 than that particular 6670, but the fast er GPU in the 6770, will prevail.
You will have to wait for a gamer, for a more exact answer, but I would think the difference is not worth it, unless no money is involved in the exchange.
In other words, buying a new graphics card, and only moving 1 level up, is a waste of money, IMO.Hard Sayin Not Knowin

It might be a slightly larger improvement than I stated
Passmark has the 6670@1193, and the 6770@1749
PassMark Software - Video Card Benchmarks - High End Video Cards
Passmark should be taken with a huge grain of salt though.
We don't know the system that the card was in, who tested it, or even the kind of card.( ie type and amount of vid memory).
It is just an average, and has been know to be wrong at times.
So again, wait for the gamers.Last edited by stroyal; April 29th, 2012 at 10:03 AM.

the GDDR3 memory is slower than GDDR5, but in bit rate bandwidth only, if the GDDR3 is clocked higher than the 5, it may help match it, but even still, as stroyal pointed out, the 6770 is a more powerful GPU, so its a moot point, the 6770 is the faster card no matter what.

the other difference is power consumption/usage. the 6670 uses less power than the 6770, less than 75W on the 6670, and about 100-110W on the 6770.
